Marseille-Cassis Solidaire

Turn your sporting challenge into a citizen commitment

On the occasion of the 2026 edition of MARSEILLE‐CASSIS – AG2R LA MONDIALE, the SCO Sainte‐Marguerite, organizer of the event, is deploying a unique device: Marseille-Cassis Solidaire, an initiative that combines sporting challenge and citizen engagement.

Thanks to this new approach, the race becomes an opportunity to live the experience, to make a concrete commitment differently by giving a social, environmental or inclusive dimension to its participation.

Launched on 4 May, Marseille-Cassis Solidaire offers a new way to join the adventure. Participants can access the race while supporting essential causes for society and the territory, thanks to a collection system that transforms each stride into a useful gesture.

Would you like to participate in the 47th edition of Marseille-Cassis - AG2R LA MONDIALE by supporting one of the selected associations in 2026? Create your solidarity account, choose your association, and start your collection without delay.

Due to the limited number of solidarity race bibs (1,000 places), we cannot guarantee either access to open a solidarity collection or an assignment with the association you wish to support.

Marseille-Cassis Solidaire, how does it work?

A simple mechanism

  • You can create a solidarity fund (€25 commitment fee) and commit to collect at least €200 in donations for one of the 4 selected associations.
Once this minimum amount is reached, you will have the opportunity to get your bib for the Marseille-Cassis – AG2R LA MONDIALE race, which will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026.

Mobilize your community for a cause

  • Thanks to this device, you can mobilize your loved ones, colleagues, networks and communities to help you reach, and even exceed, your fundraising goal.
Marseille-Cassis Solidaire thus becomes a different way of experiencing the event and raising awareness among those around you about an adventure that gives another meaning to each stride.

Key dates

  • Opening of the solidarity funds on May 4th
  • Collections possible until October 31, 2026, that is, 5 additional days after the race to extend your commitment.
  • Warning: If by September 7 you have not reached the 200€ donation deadline, you will permanently lose the opportunity to get your race bib.

For this first edition, 4 associations committed to the territory of Provence were selected, each embodying a great cause and the values of the event:

An inspiring and sustainable model

By evolving the solidarity mechanisms implemented in previous years, the organizers of MARSEILLE‐CASSIS – AG2R LA MONDIALE wish, with the launch of Marseille‐Cassis Solidaire, to initiate a new dynamic allowing a greater number of associations to benefit from a surge of generosity commensurate with the event.

This initiative draws its inspiration from the Anglo-Saxon models, such as the marathons in London and New York, which have always placed the charity work of runners at the very heart of their competitions. Marseille‐Cassis Solidaire also aims to be a long-term fixture on the local landscape, by supporting a lasting network of associations in Provence that is among the richest and most dynamic in France, and by making racing a real driver of social impact for the territory.
