You are numerous the day of Marseille-Cassis to make the trip to come to encourage your runners, here are some information that will be useful.

COURSE

  • Access to the starting area, on the forecourt of the Orange Velodrome and in front of the Prado Shopping Mall, is exclusively reserved for runners. Accompanying persons can not enter these areas.
  • To attend the start of the runners, you can position yourself on either side of the road after the start line on boulevard Michelet.
  • To help the runners to cross the famous Gineste, obligatory passage and sometimes dreaded, come to encourage them by positioning you on this race's key point, accessible on foot.
  • In order to give maximum space to the crowd of runners, be sure to stay on the outside of the road.
  • Any motorized vehicle is forbidden as well as any rolling vehicle (Bicycles, scooters, skates, ...)
  • On arrival, Albizzi Avenue, on both sides of the road the atmosphere is at its height to welcome riders after their 20 Kilometers race.

FOLLOW THE RACE

  • A giant screen will broadcast the race on the finish line in Cassis.
  • Marseille-Cassis is broadcast in live from 9h to 12h on: France 3 Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur and France Bleu Provence.
  • Live tracking: You can follow in live the progress of your riders with the name or the number of bib. RDV on www.marseille-cassis.com to connect to the monitoring platform.

TRANSPORT

  • To make your journeys easier, using public transport is highly recommended.
  • Access near the departure by metro and bus. More informations
  • Trains connect Marseille St-Charles station to Cassis station. The arrival of the race is near the Cassis station, so it is possible to walk there.
  • More information coming about train schedules.
  • Shuttle buses before and after the race linking Aubagne / Marseille, Cassis / Aubagne and Cassis / Marseille are only reserved for the riders on presentation of the bib. For more information, click here.

POINT OF PARKING

PARKING DES GORGUETTES

  • Parking authorized from Friday, October 26th to Sunday at 7:45 am.
  • Parking closed from 8:00 to 14:00 on Sunday 28 October. No vehicle will be able to leave it.

CARNOUX ROAD 

  • Authorized spectator parking on the Carnoux road, above the Mussuguet, parking on both sides of the road, and on the traffic direction. 
  • No parking in the center of the roadway.
  • No authorized parking on the roads leaving from Roquefort and Bellefille which will be closed to the traffic from 5.30am

DEPARTURE BY WAVE

  • The start of the race will be given at 9 am with the launch of the first wave of elite runners and preferential SAS.

    The SAS "GENERAL PUBLIC" will be separated into several waves. The first wave "GENERAL PUBLIC" will leave 3 minutes after the first. The following waves, consisting of 3,000 people, will start in 8-minute intervals.

AWARDS

  • Award ceremony for the winners from 10:30 am - Arrival Avenue des Albizzi, Cassis.

FIND YOUR NEARBY ON ARRIVAL

  • To facilitate the runners' exit after the finish line, we invite you to meet your nearby in the dedicated meeting point area around the roundabout of the flags at the end of the Albizzi Avenue.
