A commitment to sustainable running
Participating in MARSEILLE-CASSIS - AG2R LA MONDIALE means committing to more than just athletic performance. It means choosing to behave in a way that respects the environment, others, and the values of the race. As a responsible runner, I commit to:
Leaving no trace
- I will keep my trash until I reach the designated collection areas along the course and at the finish line.
- I will prioritize the use of personal hydration and water carrying systems.
- I will respect the sorting areas provided by the organization.
- Pick up any trash I come across on my route, if I can do so safely.
Respect nature
- I will respect the Calanques National Park, all the natural areas I pass through, and biodiversity.
- I will limit my noise impact in sensitive areas of the course to respect the wildlife of the Calanques National Park.
Choosing more sustainable practices
- I will prioritize sustainable transportation for my travel to and from the race: carpooling, public transportation, biking.
- I will prioritize sustainable, repairable, or recycled equipment.
Respecting water and resources
- I will only take what I need at aid stations.
- I avoid wasting food and water.
- I support the plastic reduction initiatives put in place by the organization.
Show solidarity and kindness
- I behave in a kind and supportive manner towards other runners, volunteers, and spectators.
- I remain courteous, even when pushing myself hard.
- I contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere.
Become an ambassador for sustainable running
- I lead by example and share best practices with those around me.
- I encourage other runners to adopt responsible behaviors.
Every action counts, every stride can make a difference.
Together, let's take up the challenge of an ever more responsible race.
By participating in MARSEILLE-CASSIS - AG2R LA MONDIALE, each runner declares that they have read the Responsible Runner Charter and undertakes to comply with it.
