2. How can I sign up to the Marseille Cassis ?


Running together again in 2021 is our wish for this year and because it is important to us to meet you again next October, Marseille-Cassis is being prepared now.

Following the cancellation of Marseille-Cassis 2020, registrations for the next edition scheduled for Sunday October 31, 2021 will be done in several phases:

  • From February 8 to March 1, 2021: Re-registration of individual runners and groups who have opted to transfer their registration from 2020 to 2021. Procedure exclusively online with sending of a personal re-registration link by email.
  • Tuesday March 16, 2021 - 10am : Online registration for groups (New 2021 registrations from 10 to 100 bibs maximum)

Group procedure info

  • From Wednesday March 17, 2021 (10 a.m.) to Thursday March 18 (10 a.m.) : Registration for FFA licensees
    • Session Limited in number and at the exceptional price of 58 € (excluding options and management fees) 
    • Mandatory entry of the FFA 2020-2021 license number when registering online
  • Thursday March 18, 2021 - 12 noon : Individual registrations (New 2021 registrations)
  • Unit price for new 2021 registrations in groups and individuals: 60 € (excluding options and management fees).


  • Last year, Marseille-Cassis got involved in the solidarity race and offered to give your support to the ODP, the ODP, the "Oeuvre des Pupilles Orphelins and Fonds d'Entraide des Sapeurs-Pompiers de France", which comes in help to orphans of firefighters.
  • Following the cancellation of Marseille-Cassis 2020, the organization wished to renew the action in 2021 and offers to support the association from your individual online registration by making an optional donation of € 15.
    For each donation made, you will benefit from a tax reduction of 66% of the amount of the donation and a tax receipt will be sent to you directly by email by the ODP.


  • When registering individually, subscribe to the "J'aime Courir Pass Event" for € 8 and benefit from:
    • Your cancellation insurance for the race in the event of a physical problem
    • Your personalized training plan produced by the running coaches of the French Athletics Federation

* Offer reserved for people who do not have a valid FFA license or annual "J'aime Courir Pass Event", these benefits are already included in the current FFA membership

3. How can I pick up my race pack (race number and sport bag) ?

In order to be able to pick up your bib, take with you :

  • Your valid Sanitary Pass
  • Your registration confirmation sent by email
  • Your ID
  • If you have not provided via upload, your medical certificate of " no contraindication to practice  athletics competition in Running" (less than one year, valid to 31 October 2021) or valid license respectively comply with the regulations of the race.

Collection of an individual number by another person :

  • You can mandate another person to collect your number.
  • He/she must have your identity card (or a copy of it), your number collection form, your medical certificate if you have not had it validated beforehand, and your valid health pass. 
  • A person can only pick up one or two race numbers in addition to his or her own.

    According to FFA regulation 2020-2021: paragraph II-A-4

    Participation to "Marseille-Cassis-20km" is subject to mandatory presentation by participants:

    • A 2020-2021 license issued by the FFA and valid at the event's date, "Athlé Compétition", or "Athlé Entreprise", or "Athlé running" (Warning : "Athlé Santé" or "Athlé Encadrement" licenses are not accepted)
    • Or a "Pass J'aime Courir" issued by the FFA and completed by the doctor, valid at the event's date.
    • Or a sports license, valid at the date of the event, issued by a Federation only certified (FSGT, FSPN, FFSA, FCD, FFH, UFOLEP, ASPTT, FSCF), on which must appear, the no contraindication for the practice of sport in competition, athletics in competition or running in competition.
    • Or a medical certificate attesting your ability for the practice of "sport in competition" or "Athletics in competition" or "running in competition", dating from less than a year to the date of the competition. 

    Foreign participants are required to present :

    • A full vaccination certificate (only possible for runners from the European Union)
    • A RT-PCR test less than 72 hours or an antigenic test less than 48 hours (compulsory for all foreign runners outside the European Union)
    • A medical certificate of absence of contraindication to the practice of sport in competition, athletics in competition or running in competition, even if they hold a competition licence issued by a federation affiliated to the IAAF. No other document can be accepted as proof of possession of the medical certificate.

    5. Is there a time limit ?

    Runners have a limit of one hour and a half hours to ascent the "Col de la Gineste " and three hours to complete the whole course. When the vehicle marking the end of race passes, any runners behind must conform to the "normal" rules of the road.
