The Volunteers

Every year, our volunteers do their own "marathon" allowing us to spend an unforgettable day in October; without them, the race would have trouble continuing...

The volunteers work with real passion; what they do, they do from their heart, they are always ready to lend a hand and they ask for very little in comparison to what they bring to the club and its organisation.

During the race, a little smile is often enough to set a tired runner on his way - the volunteers thrive on this - the euphoria of the crowd, the pleasure of all the participants makes their day really worthwhile.

One of the greatest rewards is seeing the athletes arrive in the Port of Cassis smiling and happy, albeit completely worn out by their exertions. Marseille Cassis is a race for runners but also for volunteers - at the heart of this big family they can find mutual respect, conviviality and where, of course, they have responsibilities and they are useful and valued.

To all those who give, have given and hopefully will give their time, we would like to say a big thank-you.
